This position is HYBRID in Maryland and requires travel into the office of 2-3 days a week.
PURPOSE:
The Manager, Proposal Development manages a team of proposal development consultants to create consistent, high-quality, competitive, and compliant proposals for new and existing clients. This role reviews proposal drafts and provides direction on the teams' written responses ensuring quality and compliance. The manager will be responsible to implement best-practices, repeatable and measurable processes, and continuous improvements. This role works in an integrated way with our market development and market entry teams, as well as our subject matter experts throughout the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree n journalism, communications, English, health care administration, business administration or public health OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years developing and producing effective sales proposals, marketing communications, technical response documents and graphics materials
1 year supervisory experience or demonstrated progressive leadership experience
