PURPOSE:
The intern position resides within the Core Markets & Diversified Solutions Business Unit supporting the Dental Provider Network Department. This team is responsible for credentialing Dental practitioners for network participation with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. They accurately maintain all Provider data within the enterprise-wide Provider file to supply the organization with data, while ensuring compliance with regulatory, accreditation, legal and company requirements and standards.
We are looking for a rising Junior/Senior Undergraduate student that is interested in learning and collaborating with our diverse team. Ideally this opportunity would run as a year-round internship program. The student is someone who can work part-time 15-20 hours throughout the year in the Fall/Spring AND full time 35 40 hours in the summer.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: This position requires an individual working towards at least a Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University.
Experience: Junior or Senior Undergraduate student targeting majors in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or other Business-related studies with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Salary Range: $18,720 - $26,000
