Lead ERP Business Analyst (Hybrid)

PURPOSE: 
The Lead ERP Business Analyst is a hands-on role plays a pivotal role in our organization's Oracle Financials environment, serving as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This individual will lead requirements gathering, analysis, and solution design efforts, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical implementations. Moreover, they will spearhead the transition efforts to cloud-based ERP and EPM solutions, driving the organization towards future-state cloud applications. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Oracle Financials Expertise

  • Demonstrate mastery in Oracle Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, iExpense, budgeting, and FAH. Provide subject matter expertise on Oracle Financials business processes.

Requirements Gathering and Analysis 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories.

Solution Design and Implementation 

  • Work closely with technical SMEs and developers to ensure technical solutions align with business needs. Support the product owner in drafting user stories and acceptance criteria for projects.

Cloud Transition and Support 

  • Lead efforts in transitioning from on-premises to cloud-based Oracle Financials and EPM products. Provide day-to-day support for ERP and EPM products, ensuring system stability and performance.

Project Support and Impact Assessment 

  • Support project requirements and impact assessments for new and existing projects. Facilitate communication between business owners, product owners, and technical teams. Coordinates business analyst(s) tasks on information technology projects and provides project team member guidance and support. Plans, allocates, and monitors work of other business analysts.

Independent Work and Cloud Implementation Support 

  • Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify production readiness. Provides time estimates for project related tasks.  Ability to work independently, managing tasks and priorities effectively. Support transition efforts to cloud implementation projects, ensuring smooth migration and adoption. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Agile analysis Certifications or Business Analysis certifications are preferred. Oracle Financial Certifications, Cloud Certifications are recommended.

Experience: 

  • 8 years progressive experience in ERP Business Analysis.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle Financials modules and business processes. 
  • Proven track record in writing technical specifications and user stories. 
  • Experience supporting ERP and EPM products in both on-premises and cloud environments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • In-depth understanding of ERP systems and business processes, particularly Oracle Financials.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cloud-based technologies. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
  • Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated with industry trends and technologies.
  • Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.

Salary Range: $92,736 - $184,184
