Resp & Qualifications
PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for renewing/growing a Taft Hartley book business which includes the most complex and jumbo accounts with indemnity, self-funded, shared administration, and managed care medical products, ancillary/specialty products, and life products. This position drives revenue and manages current and prospective relationships to ensure success with products. Leads sales initiatives and strategies within their assigned territory. Achieves sales and profitability objectives by effectively managing new and existing accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree, Business, Finance or related field OR in lieu of a bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 10 years sales/service group healthcare - Labor market experience preferred
Licenses/Certifications
Current health and life license for the jurisdictions of Maryland, DC, and Virginia Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Salary Range: $96,000 - $156,000 (salaries are based on education, experience & internal equity) sales incentive targets are separate
Travel Requirements
Estimate Amount: 80% This position is expected to travel to see clients and prospective clients
Candidates must live in the Maryland, DC, VA area in order to travel to local offices and for in-person client meetings.
