Senior Cyber Security Specialist (CyberArk)

Resp & Qualifications


Under the supervision of the Manager of Identity and Access Management, the incumbent’s accountabilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Analyze, design and develop new features for the CyberArk Privileged Identity Management product family, focusing on expanding the capabilities of CyberArk products to integrate with multiple ranges of platforms, operating systems and applications.

Challenging C# / Java / Python development for a large variety of platforms (Windows, UNIX, Databases, Network devices, Web applications and many more)

Take part in feature development from the requirement definition stage, through technical research and design to development and the final deliverable

Produce high quality code that meets the high security, stability and performance standards of the large enterprises.

Good understanding of z/OS and be able to integrate RACF with CyberArk through custom plugins.

Lead and own various development efforts in the group (Backend/Frontend – Web and UI)

Research new Web, UI and server side technologies

Produce quality products that meet high security, stability and performance standards

Understand existing code and refactor it in different technologies and architecture

Development mainly in - C#, JAVA, Python, Angular 4 (or any other JS based framework)

Member in a cross-functional development team, in an Agile oriented environment


  • College Degree in an Information Security or Technology related field or equivalent experience plus 5-8 years related experience. 
  • 5+ years’ experience building highly-scalable interactive web applications
    • Front end - JavaScript, Python, Angular 2 or higher, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Flexbox
    • Back end – C#  or Java
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical challenges (high technical capabilities and independence, excellent design and analytical skills)
  • Develop Plugin and Web Services using standard frameworks / tools like AutoIt.
  • High ability to adopt new technologies and understand them in depth through rapid self-learning
  • Demonstrated ability for creative thinking & problem solving
  • Demonstrated experience in working in an Agile development organization (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, highly motivated individual with a high work ethic and goal-oriented approach
  • Experience in large complex projects – advantage
  • Define and implement continuous integration and a deployment pipeline - advantage
  • Experience in multi-threaded environment  - advantage
  • Good understanding of basic networking concepts, firewalls and load balancers.
  • Ability to coordinate projects and tasks in line with department and company goals and objectives.
  • Ability to self-direct and work independently.
  • Ability to keep associates motivated and interested in their responsibilities and opportunities.
  • Possess good working knowledge and understanding of Java, JavaScript, UNIX, Windows, credential stores such as Microsoft Active Directory and IBM Directory Server, and Mainframe (TSO, CICS) environments and their related security capabilities and functions.
  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of typical application life cycle development processes
