CBI Data Warehouse Supervisor in Washington, DC. Drive the design, develop, test and implementation of maintainable program logic for existing and new application in accordance with the technical specifications. Supervise a team's daily activities; assigns and delegates work responsibilities to team members as required for various projects, monitors project plans, project deliverable scheduled, resource hours and project budget. Provide leadership to team members including: hiring, setting goals, salary adjustments within budget and corporate guidelines, performance management, staff development and advancement, performance plans for team members and performance feedback, training sessions related to process/system knowledge, answering questions, providing coaching and counseling, helping to set deadlines, setting an example of how to accomplish tasks in an effective manner. Verify the business requirements as defined in the Project Requirements Document are tested end to end throughout the D&I systems (ODS / EDM / SBI / CBI). Coordinate with the enterprise auditing teams as well as external audit requests. This includes tracking all D&I reviews for the fiscal year and participate in all audits with proper D&I project teams: TOS Audit Coordination, CareFirst Corporate Audit Services, and Financial Accounting.
Requires a BS or equiv in CS, Engg, Math, Actuarial Sci, Info Sys or related + 7 years of exp as a Computer Software Professional OR alternatively, 9 years of Computer Software Professional exp only. Exp must include 7 years w/database management systems, ETL systems, business intelligence tools, defect management & testing.
