Resp & Qualifications
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Under the direction of an IT Manager or Director, the Tactical Analyst’s accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Researches and analyses less complex issues in response to managements’ request and presents results to management as required. Assists with less complex metrics, statistics, reports, budgets, and research and analysis as requested.
Facilitate projects at the request of IT management. Projects are routine with emphasis on research, analysis, planning and coordination of disparate functional and technical areas inside and outside the company, including external vendors.
Assists with maintaining department communications, policies and procedures for both internal and external usage, coordinate internal reporting requirements for the department, updating/create presentations for management, educating teams and management on issues, policies and procedures where appropriate.
Promotes issue resolution using documented facilitation techniques to improve productivity. Performs IT support responsibilities as requested. Develops project management and analytical skills and increases IT knowledge to provide enhanced recommendations to management.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience in direct analysis and reporting experience, or equivalent directly related work experience. Individual must be a self starter and able to work with little to no direct supervision. The individual must exhibit an understanding of strategy, organization, and process within a company context with a focus on information technology issues. Familiarity with methodologies, system development, budgeting issues, project management, and information technology performance metrics is required.
Skills: Facilitation and presentation skills are required. Other requirements are interpersonal skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including EXCEL and Power Point), Internet browsers and project management tools. Must be technologically literate in office equipment/computers.
Preferred: College Degree in IT or related field, CF experience, CF IT experience, consulting background.
