Purpose of this position is to provide analytical, presentation, staff and facilitation support for the IT Strategy Director. This position will focus on leading complex analysis, development and delivery of the three year IT Strategy in conjunction with the IT Leadership Team. The three IT strategy will expand our capabilities, tools and processes to enable the organization to realize new and diverse opportunities
Develop and maintain strategies to manage and improve the effectiveness, efficiency and costs of the Operations Center. Recommends to senior and executive leadership when and where to make optimal investments in capabilities to support enterprise strategies and tactical goals.
Conduct research; consult with all levels of management and colleagues within and outside the IT organization to develop and present executive level presentations. Actively interacts with senior IT management and IT colleagues to translate corporate/functional business and information objectives into IT financial/strategic/tactical business plans.
Scope and plan the underlying analyses that will yield critical answers to key questions for driving IT Strategy. Understand the required data set to complete the analysis and procure it accordingly. Analyze data and translate findings into meaningful product and member insights, integrating relevant business knowledge as well as learning from other projects/sources. Deliver timely with minimal support. Leverage MS Office tools to capture and communicate the findings and implications of the analysis to upper management clearly. Acts as general contractor within the IT organization to consult and develop appropriate support for IT centric projects; integrate activities with business units, corporate departments, and IT departments to ensure the successful implementation and support of project efforts.
Facilitate communication between all key IT groups and the customer community through creation of IT Metrics & Status reporting mechanisms and participation in meetings.
This position requires a BS or equivalent technical training and a minimum of 8-10 years experience of IT and business experience in strategic planning, This position requires familiarity in information security, configuration management, networking, databases, systems operations and applications and knowledge of financial management. This position requires strong strategic and tactical planning and organizing skills. The incumbent must also possess strong problem analysis skills and be decisive as well as flexible. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Ability to present and discuss technical and non-technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding. Possess strong management, business planning, and development skills. Demonstrates solid teamwork and an ability to communicate and persuade peers and management at all levels; and thrive in a cross-functional environment. Additionally, the incumbent must have the ability to identify priorities and achieve results with a sense of urgency.
Experience in project management and execution of multiple projects, with working knowledge of applications development lifecycle.
