Senior HR Analytics Analyst

Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:
The incumbent will have a pro-active approach in managing data across the HR organization.  Provide and analyze data for Human Resources with successfully collaborating with colleagues, and present data used to make decisions.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for planning and executing integrated talent analytics activities for HR including but not limited to survey design and measurement, program evaluation, talent management and assessment.

Conduct statistical analysis of HR and/or business data to identify actionable insights. Identify and interpret trends in data, present findings, and provide recommendations to varying levels of the organization.

Identify appropriate statistical analysis techniques required to deliver insights. Merge data from multiple sources/systems and provide ad-hoc reporting when needed.

Leverage internal HR and/or business data using internal tools, systems, and data sources.

Proactively partner with key stakeholders to address business gaps or opportunities identified through analytics. Assist with building a foundation of analytical capabilities throughout the HR organization.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required: 

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics or related field
  • 3-5 year’s experience in Finance, Accounting, HR or Data Analytics for reporting and analytics (PeopleSoft Preferred).
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Must have statistical analysis and data visualization capabilities using tools such as Excel, Tableau, Microstrategy or OBIEE
  • Outstanding consultative abilities with combined track record of having built effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups at all levels
  • Ability to work in a project-based environment
  • Excellent Planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple stakeholder groups at all levels
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy; ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Preferred: Oracle OBIEE , Tableau, Microstrategy

Abilities/Skills: 

  • Requires excellent analytical thinking and applies a logical, systematic approach to problem solving
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to break down complex analysis and present (oral/written) in a concise and meaningful way
  • Strong interpersonal skills and establish trusting working relations with Department and other Access stakeholders
  • Must understand and use an analytic driven process to develop recommendations that are both meaningful and actionable.
  • Understand and is knowledgeable of data warehousing concepts
  • Strong technical abilities, including Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Microstragey and is also familiar with other data sources for collecting and gathering of relevant data
  • Good change management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly switch between priorities/tasks. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter and able to work independently with staff at various levels.
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment Requires excellent analytical thinking and applies a logical, systematic approach to problem solving
