Resp & Qualifications
PURPOSE: The Talent Acquisition Strategic Sourcer role is responsible for the recruitment sourcing of IT/Technical skill sets for the Talent Acquisition strategy, its underlying IT programs and components as well as the close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition Specialist and Clients. As a Strategic Sourcer, you will lead and execute the development sourcing techniques via cold-calling, Boolean, Flip, X-Ray searches, etc through resume databases, job boards, associations, industry networking, community engagement, job fair events and corporate association sponsorships. This role will work closely with our Talent Acquisition Specialist and Client for intake/kick-off meeting to ensure that clear requirements are understood to execute proactive search programs aligned with client initiatives. Current understanding of market trends and industry benchmarks with recruiting efforts in the external market, the position provides consultation to key stakeholders internally about best practices as well as the coordinated pipeline efforts of top-tier talent for CareFirst roles.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Under the direction of the Manager, Talent Acquisition, the principle duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Travel – 25% anticipated local travel within MD/DC/VA corridors for events, meetings and/or client relation efforts.
Working knowledge of Human Resource policies and practices, the ability to effectively develop business team relationships with clients and co-workers, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), good presentation skills, knowledge of EEO and affirmative action requirements, the ability to travel out of state and to offsite locations and strong PC skills using word-processing and spreadsheet programs.
