Manages product lifecycle for products in a product family. Assess product performance, forecast sales in line with sales objectives. Lead product pricing, packaging, positioning and P&L. Conduct market assessment and leverage insights to enhance products. Serve as expert in product family.
Manages market segment business and action plans in line with company direction. Provide direct support to the organization in all designated market segments, by serving as the subject matter expert; assisting in strategic planning; operations process improvement assistance; present presentations and trainings to internal and external stakeholders including Sales and clients. Meets market revenue and margin objectives by optimizing product offering, service, customer experience and costs. Provide subject matter expertise and leadership to all areas of the company related to Market regulations, policies and nuances, and serve as an advisor on related implementations and task forces.
Manage and assist in the development of products and features for assigned Market(s). Identify differentiated, innovative and value-added benefits to succeed in highly competitive market. Improves market revenue and profit performance by recommending product and packaging development programs; providing customer and competitor perspectives; coordinating introduction timetables with related departments.
For assigned Market(s), manage and assist in the facilitation of multidisciplinary product development or product implementation teams. Serve as business owner, point person and consensus builder for marketing, product, and strategic issues balancing customer needs, financial requirements and corporate strategic goals. Manage and assist in the monitoring of profitability, enrollment, customer satisfaction, and market and competitor trends in order to recommend new products, product enhancements, or product retirements. Develop monthly updates and presentation of quarterly comprehensive closing documents to staff in order to gauge Market’s performance and to summarize key findings and trends.
Hire, train and manage multidisciplinary teams to develop and publish annual product/segment plan. Responsible for P&L for portfolio. Lead staff in an effort to develop, launch and manage products and process improvements for designated products and segments. Provide strategic direction to staff, review their work, manage workload and make critical decisions about priorities of associates. Supports field staff by answering questions; responding to requests.

Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 5 years demonstrated progressive product management or marketing management experience and 1 year year supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership
In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of marketing principles, such as web advertising, performance, and direct response marketing.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Exprt
Ability to partner and lead across an organization to develop marketing communication campaigns and programs.
