Resp & Qualifications

PURPOSE:  Provides clerical and administrative support to the external audit function.

 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

Under the direct supervision of the Sr. Director, External Audit Coordination,  the incumbent’s accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

1.

Requests, receives, logs, and readies claims, explanation of benefits and other documents needed to meet upcoming audit requirements. 

2.

Completes requests necessary to establish timely  audit system and facility access and completes timely termination when access needs end.

3.

Performs additional duties as required for the department to meet upcoming audit requirements.

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

Required: Position requires 0-1 years experience in related areas, including data entry.  Use of PCs and word-processors is necessary.

 

Abilities/Skills:  The incumbent must possess effective organizational, analytical, and both written and verbal communication skills.  Additionally, the incumbent must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, and work both independently and as a member of a team.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The associate is primarily seated while performing the duties of the position.  Occasional walking or standing is required.  The hands are regularly used to write, type, key and handle or feel small controls and objects.  The associate must frequently talk and hear.  Weights up to 25 pounds are occasionally lifted.
