Resp & Qualifications
The Executive Compensation Program Director provides key expert level support to the executive compensation function. Key duties include administration of executive compensation plans and programs, as well as preparation of compensation committee materials. Prepares and presents meeting materials and provides support for board and its committees.
Leads and support multiple executive compensation projects, including the strategic assessment of program effectiveness and modeling of potential program changes, developing and managing policies and processes, and complying with regulatory changes.
Provides consulting and counsel in support of or in partnership with the business-aligned compensation leaders regarding executive compensation-related issues, including executive benchmarking, leveling, pay recommendations, and executive transactions, including promotions and external offers. Guides the decision-making process and outcomes by providing detailed analysis/models, innovative recommendations, and expert knowledge.
Proactively recommends enhancements or changes to current executive compensation programs, policies, and processes for both immediate and long-term objectives, ensuring our programs and practices remain innovative, leading-edge, efficient, and effective.
Provides compensation support to assigned divisions, performing duties such as: job evaluation, assisting in development of job descriptions, and providing expert knowledge on Compensation issues. Participates in compensation design and consulting projects, such as divisional reorganization initiatives or creation of company-wide job families
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Math, Finance, Business or related field and 10 years progressively responsible experience in broad-based and executive compensation.
In Lieu of Education
In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Master's Degree Experience with employment law
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent consulting skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Heavily skilled at mathematical modeling and what-if capability, specifically related to executive compensation design alternatives, Strong project management, organizational, and technical skills.
